HeroRush has no accounts, no sign-in and no analytics service, and we — MyDataWave — operate no servers that receive data from the game. The game shows ads through Google AdMob, and the ad network collects some device data to serve them. There are two kinds: rewarded ads (since version 1.1), which play only when you tap a button that says so, in exchange for the reward named on it; and, since version 1.2, a full-screen interstitial ad that may play when a level starts, which is not optional and earns you nothing. This policy explains exactly what is collected, what stays on your own device, and the choices you have.
None. The game sends nothing about you to us. Specifically, HeroRush never collects your name, email address or contact details; accounts or credentials (it has none); location data; contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera; or payment information (nothing is sold in the game).
HeroRush offers three optional rewards for watching a video ad: Continue after a lost level, Double coins after a run, and a Free chest once an hour. Declining or closing one of those never costs you progress. Separately, since version 1.2, one full-screen interstitial ad may play when a level starts — you do not choose it and it carries no reward. There are no banner ads anywhere in the game.
Both kinds are served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). To do that, Google's advertising software inside the app may collect and process:
This data goes to Google, not to us. Google processes it under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy); how Google uses information from apps that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. We receive only aggregate ad statistics that do not identify you.
Where the law requires it (the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the game shows Google's consent message before the first ad and asks whether ads may be personalised. On iOS it also shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, ads are requested as non-personalised — they are still shown, but not chosen from a profile of you, and your reward is exactly the same. You can also limit ad personalisation for every app on your device: on Android under Settings → Google → Ads (reset or delete your advertising ID), on iOS under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
HeroRush saves your progress locally, on your own phone or tablet, so the game remembers where you left off. This information never leaves your device and is not visible to us.
| What is saved | Why |
|---|---|
| Selected hero, element and skill levels | To restore your loadout between sessions |
| Coins, and lifetime coins earned and spent | To track your in-game currency |
| Campaign progress: levels cleared and the best score on each | To open the next level and show your results |
| Settings, such as sound preferences | To keep your chosen options |
| Whether the tutorial and the guide have been seen, and your consent choice | So you are not asked twice |
| When you last opened the free chest | To run its one-hour cooldown |
All of it is game state. None of it identifies you. To erase it, uninstall the app, or clear the app's storage in your device settings. Because it is stored only on your device, there is nothing for us to delete on our side and no request you need to send us.
The game loads its graphics and sounds from files included in the app itself. Its network permission is used by Google's advertising software to fetch ads and by Google's consent framework to fetch the consent message. The game itself sends nothing.
HeroRush is intended for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we do not ask the ad network to treat any player as a child. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game and that data about them reached the ad network, contact us and we will help you have it removed through Google.
The only third-party service inside the game is Google AdMob, described above. There are no social media integrations, no analytics providers and no crash-reporting services.
The app stores themselves — Google Play and the Apple App Store — collect their own information when you download an app, under their own privacy policies. That collection is theirs, not ours, and we receive only the aggregate statistics those stores show every developer, which do not identify individual players.
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct and delete personal data held about you, and to object to profiling. We hold none ourselves. For the data Google processes to serve ads, those rights are exercised through Google — start at myadcenter.google.com or the device settings above — and by withdrawing consent, which turns future ads non-personalised. If you would like confirmation in writing that we hold nothing, or have any question about this policy, contact us using the address below and we will reply.
If a future version of HeroRush adds a purchase, an analytics service or an online feature, this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the store listing's data disclosures will be updated to match. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Versions before 1.1 showed no ads; this page replaced the policy that described them.
